Solidot Technology's IP67 bus I/O includes XX7 series products and IO-Link series products, supporting PROFINET, EtherCAT and other protocols, with reinforced plastic housing and M12 aviation interface.
Faced with various harsh working conditions, the IP67 bus I/O of Solidot Technology can easily cope with it and provide solid protection for the production line. However, to use IP67 bus I/O correctly, choosing the right accessories is the key.
Precast connectors and field wiring connectors are important components of IP67 bus I/O. When wiring, we need to choose suitable accessories for I/O modules according to the usage scenarios, module interfaces, and device interfaces.
1. Precast connectors
Precast connectors, that is, precast cables, can be divided into three categories: communication cables, power cables, and I/O cables. According to the usage scenarios, they can be divided into fixed installation types and drag chain installation types.

↑Classification by usage scenario
▶ Fixed installation type
Material:
① PUR outer sheath cable: especially suitable for oily, low-temperature environments, all with shielding layer, with better anti-interference ability;
↑ PUR sheathed cable parameter table
② PVC sheathed cable: Only the communication line has a shielding layer, which can meet most on-site environments and has excellent economic performance.

Length:
There are 7 standard cable lengths (0.5/1/2/3/5/10/20 meters) to choose from, and other lengths can be customized.
With the help of the appendix of the Solidot Technology product manual, you can easily complete the selection of fixed installation cables.
▶ Drag chain installation type
Designed for high-frequency movement, the PUR outer sheath has a bending life of 5 million times and the length can be customized.
2. Field wiring connector
Field wiring connectors, also known as assembly connectors, are often used in scenarios where you need to assemble personalized length cables yourself. Solidot Technology currently provides screw wiring solutions, giving priority to providing customers with non-shielded (plastic) straight structure connectors. The elastic rubber body and wire tail claw design inside the connector can enable it to meet the IP67 protection level requirements.
3. One-to-two connector
The current IP67 bus I/O module of Solidot Technology has two channels per I/O socket. In some usage scenarios, we need to separate the two channels, and a one-to-two connector will be used. Specifically, it includes M12/M8 Y-type splitter, M12/M12 Y-type splitter, M12/M12 T-type splitter, Y-type splitter with extension cable, etc.
Whether a splitter is needed and how to choose a splitter depends on the interface of the field device. The splitter can be used with a fabricated connector to connect sensors with loose wires, or it can be directly connected to sensors with M8 or M12 connectors.
