MT4-1616A is a Modbus TCP integrated slave module from Solidot Technology. The main body contains 16 DIs and 16 DOs (NPN type), and the factory default IP address is 192.168.1.120.

MT4-1616A is widely used in logistics, photovoltaics, lithium batteries, new energy and other industries, and provides a flexible and efficient industrial bus solution for small points during wiring. For this reason, customers generally do not use it with PLC in actual use, and most of them directly establish communication with the touch screen. This article takes the Weiluntong touch screen as an example to introduce the communication establishment steps of MT4-1616A:

1. Create a new project

Select the corresponding model and click the "OK" button

2. Add new device/server

Add new device/server--->MODBUS Server--->MODBUS IDA--->TCP/IP

3. Set the IP address and port number of the connected server

Set the IP address and port number of the connected server (MT4 module). The default IP address of MT4 is 192.168.1.120 and the protocol port number is 502.

(Note: It is necessary to ensure that the touch screen IP address and the MT4 module IP address are in the same network segment. In this example, the touch screen is 192.168.1.100 and the MT4 module is 192.168.1.120)
