3. SW4-ECP04 product Advantages
An EtherCAT bus topology usually consists of one master and multiple slaves. It uses a discrete data transmission mode, and devices are generally connected in sequence along a single physical link in a linear topology. This topology and wiring method often requires a large amount of network cable, which not only increases wiring difficulty and cost, but also easily leads to faults and maintenance difficulties.

↑ Unoptimized EtherCAT bus topology
The Solidot EtherCAT four-port Junction SW4-ECP04 supports multiple Topologies, including linear, tree, and star, and can be flexibly configured according to the actual application scenario. It is a "capable assistant" for adapting to various complex industrial automation environments.
