How to modify the IP address of the XB6S-PN2002 slice I/O module of Solidot Technology

XB6S-PN2002It is the PROFINET protocol coupler of the XB6S series of slice I/O modules of Solidot Technology. When equipped with other slice I/O modules, it is widely used in logistics warehousing systems, automated production lines and other fields.

In actual use, customers will set the coupler IP address according to the on-site conditions before normal communication can be carried out. The method of modifying the coupler IP is explained in detail as follows:

1. Check items before operation

        Is the communication cable wiring correct?

      Is the Botu software version compatible?

      Are the PLC and coupler power supplies in normal condition?

2. Coupler IP modification method

    Method 1: Modify IP online through Botu software

     01 After creating the project, find "Online Access", select the corresponding network card, and double-click "Update Accessible Devices":

02 Find "Accessible Devices" and select "Online and Diagnostics"

03 Select "Assign IP address" in the function, modify the required IP, and don't forget to click the "Assign IP address" button

Method 2: Modify IP online through PRONTEA

      01 Double-click the installed PRONETA software

    02 After opening the interface, select "Network Analysis"

03 Select the adapter and its network card

04 After clicking the "Refresh", modify the IP below and press the enter key to confirm, and don't forget to click the "Yes" button

Note: If IP configuration fails, right-click "POIN" to restore the module to factory settings before performing the above operations.
